Strikingly contemporary inside, Mezzo is a brand-new Italian situated midway between Blackburn and Preston.
Mezzo means half in Italian and this new restaurant is ideally situated halfway between Preston and Blackburn on the A677 Preston New Road in Samlesbury. It’s an impressive and unmissable roadside venue with its own large car park and a spacious interior comprising a lounge bar and the 130-cover restaurant spread across various levels. The contemporary design combines polished wooden floors with silver grey walls and leather seating, including high-backed booths and banquettes. Mezzo opens for lunch and dinner seven days a week with a well-balanced menu that combines plenty of pizza and pasta options with a good and varied selection of meat and fish main courses. Sharing platters are also available. Outside dining is available in a decked courtyard area and for summer 2013 a large roof terrace is planned.
